Some historical facts

The company was found in 1939, when Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard founded Hewlett-Packard.

In 1999, the HP decided to allocate non-computer lines into a separate company. Thus began the history of brand Agilent Technologies, which is a global standard of quality and reliability for measuring and analytical equipment.

Production capacities came from the United States and are located in Germany, Italy, China, Japan, Malaysia, Australia and other countries.

Expanding the scope of

At 2007 the company acquired Stratagene expanding its portfolio of instruments and reagents for genetic analysis and diagnosis.

At 2010 Agilent Technologies has signed an agreement of aquisition Varian Inc, expanding the product lines with equipment of spectral methods and vacuum technology.

At 2011 together with the University of California was established a center of microwave research. Company increased its biochemical sector through the acquisition of Halo Genomics and BioSystem Development.

At 2012 the company expanded its presence at biotechnology industry, signed a deal with Dako — Danish company involved in the diagnosis of cancer.
