On November 20, a Universal Children's Day, MILLAB participated in a charitable act Book as a Gift held in Day Care Recovery Center No. 1158 (Moscow).
The act was organized by the Illustrated Books for Small Blind Children», foundation that develops and publishes books for visually impaired children. The books have tactile inserts and clip arts; structures and movable elements develop fine motor skills of the hands. Clear contours, bright illustrations, not overloaded with details, make the books visually comfortable for visually impaired children. All the books are targeted and distributed free of charge.
The foundation exists exclusively by donations. Over years, it has been helping visually impaired children both emotionally and socially. MILLAB has been a Book as a Gift participant for more than 10 years, and over years, more and more employees join the program.
